2019 Provisional Section on Minority Health Equity & Inclusion (PSOMHEI) Abstracts Program
The Provisional Section on Minority Health Equity and Inclusion (PSOMHEI) seeks abstracts reflecting work focused on the health and care of marginalized children.
Submitted abstracts should focus on an aspect of health or health disparities for racial and/or ethnic minority children. Abstracts will be accepted for both oral and poster presentations. Authors are not required to be members of PSOMHEI to submit. Trainees and junior faculty are encouraged to submit!
The Section will be accepting original research abstracts and program abstracts describing educational programs and community-based programs. Abstracts should be no more than 450 words and have the following sections: Background, Objectives, Design/Methods, Results, Conclusion.
A submission does not prevent future publication elsewhere. In addition, prior publication or presentation at another conference does not disqualify submission.
Authors who are accepted to present their work are expected to register for the National Conference and cover their own travel and lodging expenditures.
Authors of accepted presentations should notify Dr. Shabana Yusuf at syusuf@bcm.edu as soon as possible if they must cancel their presentation.
