Nexus Summit 2022 Call for Abstracts

About the Nexus Summit 2022: Learning Together in the Nexus: A Focus on What Matters Most

As the National Center celebrates 10 years of growth in the field since its founding in 2012, we continue to be impressed with the steadfast commitment to advancing care and learning across practice and education, while acknowledging there is additional opportunity to accel as the practice and education community continues to innovate through challenges to achieve outcomes that matter most to those they serve. This year, we invite stakeholders in health to showcase their interprofessional innovations designed to improve care and learning outcomes. With increasing frequency, we observe - and encourage - practice and education partners intentionally working together to link health professions education and health systems for simultaneous interprofessional workforce development of future and current health professionals. More information about the Nexus Summit can be found at summit.nexusipe.org

Nexus Summit 2022 will include both in-person and virtual experiences. Specific themes will be aligned with each program format to maximize opportunities for our stakeholders to showcase their accomplishments, outcomes, and innovations. Contribute to the conversation and share your expertise at Nexus Summit 2021 through submitting one or more abstracts on your work. The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is calling for abstracts for peer-reviewed Seminars, Lightning Talks, Clinical Lighting Talks (new in 2021), Professional Posters, and Interprofessional Student Posters. All  categories will be asked to respond to a preferred Summit Theme.

Please carefully read the Call for Abstracts at summit.nexusipe.org for important details outlining which themes are associated with in-person and virtual experiences. Familiarize yourself with the Summit Themes and the Strategic Imperatives that underlie them. The Call for Abstracts is essential reading before beginning a submission here. The submission deadline is May 16, 2022. All submissions will be peer-reviewed and submitters will be notified of the National Center's decisions no later than June 20, 2022.
