Welcome to the 2026 WCGALP Abstract Submission Site
We invite contributions to parallel and poster sessions on topics indicated in Abstract Categories and Topics. All contributions require submission of an abstract formatted following ASAS Quality Standards for Abstracts and a 4-page paper.
We encourage submissions on original research, teaching, and extension papers. Oral papers or posters should consist of original, completed work that has not been accepted for publication in a journal.
Authors need to be aware of patent considerations before submitting abstracts for publication.
Contributions to parallel and poster sessions are limited to ONE per presenting author, except for submissions to the "Education, training, outreach" category. Thus, a presenting author can submit one or more abstracts under the "Education, training, outreach" category AND up to one abstract under any of the other categories.
If extenuating circumstances beyond the authors’ control prevent the presenting author to attend WCGALP in person, exceptions to the ONE per presenting author can be made. To request such an exception, please send an email to WCGALP2026@asas.org with the abstract ID, the names of the original and substitute presenters, and the reason for the request.
