Welcome to the 2019 ASLA New York Chapter Awards
Call for Entries

The ASLA New York Chapters's awards program is calling for submittals. Organized by the Chapter Awards Committee, the Chapter awards bolster local visibility, acknowledge and promote the work of our membership, and publicly recognize excellence in landscape architecture. This year's jury will be a multidisciplinary panel convened by a sister chapter of ASLA. Awards will be presented formally at our annual Design Awards event.

CATAGORIES

1. General Design
   
2. Small Project Under $150,000
   
3. Residential Design
4. Collaborative Design, recognizing the collaboration between a landscape architect and allied professionals.
   
5. Analysis, Planning, Research and Communications
   
6. Un-built Projects

WHO CAN SUBMIT?

Submitters must be either an office/sole practitioner located in the State of New York OR be entering projects that are located in the State of New York for an ASLA-NY award. In the case of multi-disciplinary partnerships or collaborations, at least one of the lead partners must be located within New York State or the project location must be in New York State. ASLA-NY Chapter members receive a discount. If you are not a current member, you may apply for a national and chapter membership with your award submission and receive the discount. WINNING ENTRIES RECEIVE

• Awards certificates presented at the Chapter’s Annual Design Awards Event
• Recognition on the Chapter’s website
• Press releases sent to local media and design publications

AWARD DESCRIPTIONS
Honor Award: Recognizes superior professional accomplishment.
Merit Award: Recognizes excellence in professional accomplishment.

JURY
The Awards Committee has requested the assistance of a sister Chapter, who will convene an interdisciplinary jury comprised of Landscape Architects and allied professionals to review the submittals.


SUBMITTAL FEES:

ASLA-NY Members (Early-Bird) - $200 + $10 credit card processing fee
ASLA-NY Members - $250 + $10 credit card processing fee

Non-ASLA-NY Members and Others (Early-Bird) - $300 + $15 credit card processing fee
Non-ASLA-NY Members and Others - $350 + $15 credit card processing fee
