We are looking for 90-minute presentations that are innovative and forward thinking. How will your presentation help shape the future of Prevention, Treatment, Recovery, Policy and/or Research? Our overarching goal is to highlight the contributions Hispanic and Latino professionals are making to the future of behavioral health for all of our communities. Award Nomination Information
The Latino Behavioral Health Excellence Awards recognize individuals who, through practice, have demonstrated leadership, embraced inclusivity and diversity, and have exemplified dedication, integrity, and advocacy to create Latino behavioral health equity.
Our goal is to highlight the contributions and positive impact professionals serving Hispanic/Latino communities are making to the future of behavioral health for our communities. The award recipients are selected from nominations received from across the United States and all territories. The nominations are reviewed by a selection committee. One recipient will be selected from each of the five-award categories:
Scholarship Application
In an effort to provide Full-time Behavioral Health Students, Community Health Workers, Promotores(as), Preventionists and Peer Support Workers and Individuals in the behvioral health fields and related fields currently experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 with an opportunity to further their behavioral health education and professional development we have created the Bi-ennual Conference Scholarship. The number of scholarships awarded in 2021 will be one hundred (100). Let’s make the difference together!
