ACG will consider extending the Annual Scientific Meeting program to create a few additional oral presentation slots to accommodate late-breaking abstracts that detail high-quality clinical research results that were not available or fully analyzed by the June 2, 2025, general abstract deadline.

The College invites submissions of great merit and clinical research from gastroenterologists, internists, surgeons, hepatologists, radiologists, pediatricians, fellows-in-training, and advance practice providers. Both ACG members and non-members may submit abstracts.

The late-breaking abstract submission period runs from August 12-26, 2025 (11:59pm ET). No submissions will be accepted after the deadline. A nonrefundable processing fee of $70 (payable online via credit card in U.S. dollars) is required for each submitted abstract.

Notice of acceptance / non-acceptance will be emailed in early September to the person listed as the Presenting Author. The Presenting Author is responsible for notifying all co-authors of the decision, and the Presenter must officially accept the invitation to present.

Late-breaking abstract submissions must also adhere to the same overall requirements and guidelines as those for the general abstracts. (View the general abstract submission instructions.)
