PRESENTATION TYPES

• Oral: Submissions will be considered for either a full-length oral presentation or a shortened Quickshot podium presentation. If selected for an oral presentation, submission of a manuscript to the American Journal of Surgery is mandatory.
• Video: Videos should not exceed 8 minutes in length, must include sound, and must be submitted in .MP4 format (under 500 MB). A written abstract must accompany each video submission.
• Mini Oral: Mini oral submissions are limited 3-slide PDF presentations (optional videos allowed), presented in electronic poster format. No manuscript submission is required.

FORMAT GUIDELINES

• The abstract body (excluding title and author details) must not exceed 500 words.
• Only 1 graph, photo, or table is permitted per submission, in .jpg format only.
• Abstracts and videos should not contain references to authors or institutions.

DUPLICATE SUBMISSION POLICY

Papers and other works presented at the Congress must not have been previously published or presented at a major regional or national scientific meeting, unless authorized by the Program Committee. Failure to comply may result in a 2-year ban on presenting work at the Annual Scientific Meeting for the senior author, submitting author, or both, at the discretion of the Program and Executive Committees.
