Organization of Resident Representatives Community Service Recognition Award
The purpose of the award is to foster a service ethic among resident physicians by recognizing those who have made contributions above and beyond the rigors of residency training to improve the local communities surrounding their training institution.

Residents at AAMC member institutions are eligible for the award. Service activity to be considered should have occurred during the term of residency or fellowship training, though the awardee may have completed residency by the time of the nomination. Nominations can be put forward by any member of the AAMC community, including faculty, staff, administrators, residents, and students.
