Welcome to the 2026 ASLA New York Chapter Awards
Call for Entries
The ASLA New York Chapters's awards program is calling for submittals. Organized by the Chapter Awards Committee, the chapter awards bolster local visibility, acknowledge and promote the work of our membership, and publicly recognize excellence in landscape architecture. This year's jury will be a multidisciplinary panel convened by ASLA-NY. Awards will be presented formally at our annual Design Awards event.

CATEGORIES
WHO CAN SUBMIT?
Submitters must be either an office/sole practitioner located in the State of New York OR be entering projects that are located within the State of New York for an ASLA-NY award. In the case of multi-disciplinary partnerships or collaborations, at least one of the lead partners must be located within New York State or the project location must be in New York State. To be considered for the Emerging Firm Award, an office or sole practitioner must be within their first 10 years of practice.
ASLA-NY members receive a discount. If you are not a current member, you may apply for a national and chapter membership with your award submission and receive the discount.

WINNING ENTRIES RECEIVE
AWARD DESCRIPTIONS
Excellence Award: Recognizes exceptional professional accomplishment. Only one award may be given.
Honor Award: Recognizes superior professional accomplishment.
Merit Award: Recognizes professional accomplishment.
Emerging Firm Award *NEW*: Recognizes professional accomplishment for an Emerging Firm in practice for 10 years or less. A minimum of one (1) award will be given each year.
Board Award: Award granted at the discretion of the board of ASLA-NY recognizing professional accomplishment.
JURY
*NEW*The Awards Committee will convene an interdisciplinary jury comprised of prominent Landscape Architects and allied professionals from around the country to review the submittals.
