NUTRITION 2026 Call for Abstracts
The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) welcomes the submission of research in the form of abstracts for presentation at NUTRITION 2026 which will be held July 25-28, 2026 in National Harbor, MD outside of Washington, DC. All abstract presentations will be given in-person only at NUTRITION 2026.

• Network with peers in academia, industry, and government
• Become eligible for abstract-based award competitions and awards

The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at NUTRITION 2026 is Monday, March 9 at 11:59 PM ET.

Abstracts can include:

• Research: New research and/or secondary analysis of data
• Methods: Newly established or characterized methods, or evaluations of existing methods
• Protocols: Descriptions of proposed studies, or recruitment and process results of newly started studies
• Case study: A clinical vignette or case report is a means of disseminating new knowledge gained from clinical practice

NUTRITION 2026 will feature a President’s Oral Session: Abstracts of Distinction spotlighting innovative, impactful research that is advancing the field of nutrition research and practice. All abstracts submitted to NUTRITION 2026 will be considered for this prestigious session.

• Abstract acceptance notifications sent: April 6, 2026

Accepted abstracts will be programmed as poster and oral presentations at NUTRITION 2026 and published in Current Developments in Nutrition. Presenting authors are expected to register for the meeting and participate in their assigned session.
