Welcome to the ITS America Conference & Expo 2023 Call for Papers & Sessions Proposals Site

The ITS America Conference and Expo Call for Contributions is now open. For 2023, we are looking for educational sessions and papers that will narrate this year’s theme: “Implementing Innovation for All”.

The 2023 ITS America Conference & Expo will explore themes such as:
  • Automated Vehicles
  • Emerging Technologies (includes AAM, PDDs and Digital Twinning)
  • Mobility on Demand and Equitable Transportation
  • Smart and Digital Infrastructure (includes broadband)
  • Sustainability and Resiliency (includes road user charging, electric vehicles, alternative fuels, reducing emissions, grid and resiliency tech)
  • V2X/Connected Vehicles (includes communications, spectrum, edge, cloud and CV2X)

    The conference will bring together the entire intelligent transportation community for (4) days of thought-provoking education, networking, and demonstrations exploring products, emerging technologies and solutions that will enable a better future transformed by intelligent mobility. Conference Audience:

    The programming will serve the entire spectrum of Intelligent Transportation Systems and the mobility ecosystem including: Public Sector Agencies including State Department of Transportations, Cities, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, Transportation Operators and Manufacturers, Research Analysts, Educational Institutions, Consulting Firms, Architects, Engineers, Investors/Venture Capitalists, Innovative urban mobility players—micro-mobility, ride sharing, ride hailing, scooters, Mobility on Demand—public transit, urban air mobility (e.g. helicopters, drones) and more!

    Session proposals will not be considered unless diversity dimensions are considered for moderators and speakers. ITS America Conference & Expo diversity dimensions include but are not limited to: race, ethnicity, age, religion, physical and mental disabilities, sexual orientation and gender, amongst others. Proposed panels with single-gender makeup will not be considered.

    Deadline for Submission: Monday, December 12, 2022
    • Paper and session proposals must be submitted no later than Monday, December 12, 2022.
    • Paper authors may submit up to two papers.
    • Session organizers may submit up to three proposals.
    Submission Process:
    • Complete and submit paper submissions and session proposals in the online proposal form.
    • A confirmation email will be sent upon submission from donotreply@abstractscorecard.com.
    • Sessions will be reviewed by a dedicated committee and papers will be peer reviewed.
    • Submitters will be notified of the decisions by email starting, January 23, 2023.
    • All correspondence and notifications will be sent electronically to the email addresses listed on the submission form.
    • Delivering a session at the ITS America Conference & Expo 2023 is done on a voluntary unpaid basis.
    • All of the speakers' individual travel and living expenses are at their own expense.
    • All of the speakers are acknowledging that they must register as a speaker or full conference attendee, and pay the speaker registration fee, or full conference fee.
    Selection Criteria:
    • Relevance and timeliness of topic.
    • Innovation and tactical focus.
    • Quality of proposal (alignment of session description and learning objectives).
    • Expertise of presenter(s).
    • Commercial-free, vendor-neutral nature of session proposal.
    • Diversity of the session panelists.
    Speaker Compensation and Benefits:
    • A discounted speaker rate is provided to all presenters.
    • A social media graphic is provided to all presenters for their personal promotion of their session.
    • Listing on the Conference website.
    • Publishing of your work in the conference proceedings.
