2019 Transforming Health, Driving Policy Conference
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The American Academy of Nursing's 2019 Transforming Health, Driving Policy Conference will focus on Our Social Responsibility to Health: Impact and Influence. The Academy’s more than 2,700 fellows are nursing’s most accomplished leaders in education, management, practice, and research. We invite abstracts that inform the public and the nursing profession on advancements in practice and research, and that have specific policy recommendations as specified by the Academy's 2019-2020 Policy Priorities: Advance Health Equity & Champion Wellness, Promote Innovation & Sustainability, and Reduce Patient, Provider, & System Burden.
The cost for submitting abstracts for peer review is $45. If your abstract is accepted for presentation, there will be a second cost of $90 to submit your poster. Additionally, presenters will be expected to pay the conference registration fee before the start of the conference. Conference registration opens on May 1, 2019 at http://www.aannet.org/2019-policy-conference.
The 2019 Abstract Review Sub-Committee will select abstracts based on scores and recommendations from peer reviewers. Review criteria are specific to each abstract type and reflect an evaluation of how clearly and effectively authors address the abstract components, see Abstract Guidelines for more information.
