The Abstract Submission Site for the ACG 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting is now closed.

Please note that we cannot accept any modifications, additions, corrections, or author changes to abstracts after the submission deadline.

Abstract acceptance notifications will be emailed to the Presenting Author by the end of July.

Abstract Notification of Acceptance and Non-Acceptance

The abstract review process takes between 5-6 weeks. All notifications of acceptance or non-acceptance will be sent by email in mid-late July to the person listed as Presenting Author for the abstract. The Presenting Author is responsible for notifying all co-authors.

All Presenting Authors will be required to officially accept the invitation to present their abstract within one week of being notified, and must register by October 1, 2025 for and attend in-person the Annual Scientific Meeting.

Authors will be given additional presentation details at the time of notification of acceptance. No changes to the assigned presentation dates or times will be permitted.

If you are the Presenting Author and do not receive a notification email by July 31, 2025, contact abstracts@gi.org immediately to confirm acceptance or non-acceptance of your submission.

Late-breaking Abstracts

The late-breaking abstract submission period will take place August 12-26, 2025. Details about the late-breaking abstract submission process will be available in the abstracts section of our meeting website in July.

Guidelines for late-breaking abstracts will be the same as for the general submission period abstracts, with the following exceptions:

• Abstracts will be considered if they detail high-quality clinical research results that were not available or fully analyzed at the general (June 2, 2025) abstract deadline.
• Abstracts that were already considered during the general abstract period should not be resubmitted.
• Clinical vignettes, case reports, and video submissions will not be considered.
• Late-breaking abstracts are only considered for oral presentation and not as posters.
