Poster Mentor Application

Your guidance is NEEDED! Volunteer just a few minutes of your time mentoring the next generation of pharmacists.

You have the option to either:

• Review at least three resident posters during a resident poster session held on Wednesday, December 7, or
• Review at least three student posters during a session held on Monday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 6.

What do you have to do?

• Show up at the Poster Hall at the specified time and pick up your materials from the ASHP Staff at the Poster Information desk.
• You will be given one card with the three poster numbers on the opposite side.
• Give oral feedback to the residents on their project based on the following criteria:
  
  Project Design
  
  • Objectives are clearly defined.
  • Methodology is sound.
  • Data is appropriately analyzed.
  • Conclusions are consistent with objectives and results. (Research-in-Progress projects are exempt.)
  
  Significance
  
  • Project contributes to the general body of knowledge.
  • Topic is timely.
  • Topic is relevant to the practice of pharmacy.
  
  Overall Clarity and Organization
  
  • Information is well presented and easy to understand.

Note: Poster mentors must be registered for the meeting and are responsible for their own meeting registration fees.
