Welcome to the ITS America Conference & Expo 2024 Call for Contributions Site

The ITS America Conference & Expo Call for Contributions is now open. For 2024, we are looking for educational sessions and papers that will narrate this year’s theme: Accelerating Digital Transformation.

Submissions for the ITS America Conference & Expo 2024 Conference program should fall into the following categories:
  • Automated Vehicles
  • Emerging Technologies – AI, Digital Twinning, Quantum
  • Digital Infrastructure
  • V2X/Connected Transportation
  • Multi-Modal Equitable Mobility – MOD, AAM, UAM, Micro Transit, Active Mobility
  • Climate Resilience and Sustainability

Deadline for Submission: Extended to Friday, October 13, 2023
  • Paper and session proposals must be submitted no later than Friday, October 13, 2023.
  • Paper authors may submit up to two (2) papers.
  • Session organizers may submit up to three (3) proposals.

Submission Process:
  • Complete and submit paper submissions and session proposals in the online proposal form.
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon submission from speakers@itsaevents.com.
  • Sessions will be reviewed by a dedicated committee and papers will be peer reviewed.
  • Submitters will be notified of the decisions by email starting, December 4, 2023.
  • All correspondence and notifications will be sent electronically to the email addresses listed on the submission form.
  • Delivering a session at the ITS America Conference & Expo 2024 is done on a voluntary unpaid basis.
  • All of the speakers' individual travel and living expenses are at their own expense.
  • All of the speakers are acknowledging that they must register as a speaker full conference attendee or a speaker 1-Day conference attendee, and pay the speaker registration fee.
  • All of the speakers will be given marketing material to help promote their sessions in advance of the show (see details below).

Selection Criteria:
  • Relevance and timeliness of topic.
  • Innovation and tactical focus.
  • Quality of proposal (alignment of session description and learning objectives).
  • Expertise of presenter(s).
  • Commercial-free, vendor-neutral nature of session proposal.
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion of the session panelists suggestions.

Speaker Compensation and Benefits:
  • A discounted speaker rate is provided to all presenters.
  • A social media graphic is provided to all presenters for their personal promotion of their session.
  • Pre-Show speaker preparation calls and webinars will be conducted to help answer speaker questions and share information.
  • Access to dedicated Speaker Ready lounge.
  • Listing on the ITS America Conference & Expo website and mobile app.
  • Publishing of your work in the conference proceedings.
