for the 2025 Sustainable Agriculture Summit
SUMMIT OBJECTIVES
The Sustainable Agriculture Summit is the premier sustainability event for agriculture and by agriculture, bringing together farmers, suppliers, processors, brands, academia, conservation organizations and the public sector to surface actionable insights that spur collective action and deliver lasting impact on environment, social, and economic sustainability in U.S. agriculture.
The Sustainable Agriculture Summit endeavors to incorporate voices from individuals and organizations representing diverse demographics and all segments of the value chain. It is a meeting place to explore a variety of sustainability topics in ways that ensure a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue reflective of the realities of the interconnected challenges and opportunities faced by the agriculture industry.
Recognizing the importance of varied perspectives and approaches in addressing the complexities of sustainable agriculture, Summit organizers are pleased to seek stakeholder proposals for a variety of interactive learning experiences to be featured throughout the event, covering topics like climate action, water quality, soil health, farm profitability, ESG, biodiversity, labor, animal care, food insecurity, and more.
For the first time ever, the Summit will be accepting proposals for three different session formats to engage attendees:-
Breakout Sessions
Smaller, one hour sessions that allow Summit attendees to dive deeper into specific topics, engage in more intimate conversations, and explore ideas or challenges in a collaborative setting. Breakouts can feature panels, case studies, group discussions, lectures, etc. -
NEW: Workshops
Structured, hands-on learning or training sessions where participants engage in practical activities to develop skills, knowledge, etc. Workshops are often interactive and focused on specific topics or tasks, allowing for collaboration, feedback, and experiential learning. Workshops can be one or two hours. -
NEW: Roundtable Discussions
An interactive conversation during a meal in the Networking Hall where a small group will discuss a particular topic or issue in an informal, collaborative setting. Although no formal presentation will take place, goals can include sharing ideas, exchanging perspectives, and/or exploring solutions. Each table will have seating for up to 10 people, including the facilitator, and seats are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Each discussion will be one hour in length.
PROPOSAL DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, JULY 25, 11:59 PM Eastern Time. All proposals, regardless of preferred session format must be completed and submitted by 11:59 Eastern time on July 25, 2025.
