Abstracts and Educational Session Proposals Deadline – 10/02/2026 at 11:59 PM EST

APHL's ID Lab Con 2027 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, GA from March 15-18, 2027.

Oral and poster presentation abstract submissions and session proposals will be accepted through October 2, 2026. The planning committee will consider abstracts covering a broad cross section of infectious diseases and emerging laboratory technologies. Freestanding poster boards with a surface area of 44"H x 44"W will be provided for presenting posters. Handouts are permitted.

A limited number of digital posters will be available. Digital posters should be displayed on a single slide with a 16:9 aspect ratio (ratio of width to height) 16:9. Body text for digital posters should be a minimum of 24 pt, with larger fonts used for headings and titles to ensure readability from a distance of several feet. The digital poster upload must be a PDF.

The planning committee will consider proposals for a limited number of educational sessions for ID Lab Con 2027. The conference includes 90-minute plenary and breakout sessions. Sessions generally have a moderator and 3-4 speakers. Panel discussions or other interactive/informational sessions generally addressing a specific issue, program or core public health function may be appropriate but are unlikely to be prioritized.

Oral and poster abstracts are also being collected for the AMD Workshop. During the submission process, you will be able to indicate if you would like your submission to be considered for the AMD Workshop.
