Your submission is completed and ready for review once payment is made in the system. The fee to submit an abstract is $60.00. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferable and incur a 3% processing fee.

Submission & Notification Deadlines: 

Original Abstract submissions deadline: Friday, February 6, 2026.

Original Abstract Notifications will be sent by: Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Late Breaking Abstract submissions open: Monday, March 30, 2026.

Late Breaking Abstract submissions deadline: Friday, April 10, 2026.

Late Breaking Abstract submissions notifications will be sent by: Friday, April 24, 2026.

Supplement Information: 

Accepted submissions are published in an online supplement of the Journal of Sickle Cell Disease on the first day of the symposium you are submitting for. For example, if the symposium is June 5-7, 2026, the Journal of Sickle Cell Disease Online Publication date is June 5, 2026.
