A Message from the Annual Meeting Program Chair
Each November, ACLP members look forward to gathering to learn, build connections and inspire each other to improve the care of our patients. We are looking forward to meeting again in person in Austin, TX this fall! We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed how we connect and learn—for this reason, a strong program of live-streaming offerings and pre-recorded content will again allow for learning at a distance. Whichever mode of engagement you choose, we hope to provide an exciting and thought-provoking learning experience that inspires attendees in their work as educators, clinicians, administrators, and researchers.
New for 2023: Integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into the core of the program. ACLP is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and encourages submissions to include one or both of the following:
1. Address inequities in the information presented, including, but not limited to, ways in which the topic impacts individuals from historically marginalized groups.
2. Speaker panels should reflect the diversity of our Academy, including participation from speakers of diverse identity, professional background, geography, institution, and career stage.
All submissions require a response to the question, Comment on how or why your submission does or could advance diversity, equity, and inclusion, in topic presented, and/or speaker panel?
We look forward to your submissions.
