The PGA Show Education Program remains the quickest way for golf industry professionals to leverage the latest innovations and trends. Presented by the PGA Show in collaboration with the PGA of America, this program is designed for PGA Show attendees who want to dive into four relevant topics: Teaching & Coaching, Golf Operations, Executive Management, and Retail Strategies. It provides conferees with cutting-edge tools and resources to make informed business decisions, boost profitability, and stay competitive in the golf industry.
Conference Audience:
The PGA Show Education Program caters to the entire golf industry, including PGA golf professionals and coaches, on and off course facility buyers, as well as course owners and managers. It serves a wide range of job titles such as Executive Management (Owners and Senior Executives), General Management (VPs, Directors, and Managers), Buyers for Golf, Pro Shops and Retail stores, and members of golf associations like the PGA, LPGA, NGCOA, CMAA, and AGM, among others.
Deadline for Submission: Monday September 23, 2024.
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT: Executive Management provides leadership and organizational structure while managing all business operations of the facility. This includes best practices of model clubs, hiring and training techniques used to find the best fit and knowing the performance metrics that high performing managers use to gauge success.
TEACHING & COACHING: This learning topic will provide tools to plan teaching business, categorize player programs, and develop marketing & communication tactics for a fully integrated teaching and coaching service.
GOLF OPERATIONS: This topic offers Professionals the opportunity to learn how to increase job impact from industry experts. It includes presentations on responsibilities for golf management such as customer service, tournament management, tee reservation services, merchandising and staff training among other operations in the facility.
RETAIL STRATEGIES: This topic offers professionals the opportunity to learn about the latest management methods and best practices to grow their golf-related retail business. Attendees will gain insights into optimizing inventory, enhancing customer experience, merchandising practices, and implementing effective sales techniques to drive revenue and improve overall retail performance.

Notification of acceptance will be as submissions are received with a final date of 10/15
- Proposals must be submitted using the online form found below no later than Monday September 23, 2024.
- A maximum of three proposals are permitted from any one company or individual.
- Complete and submit all required items in the session proposal form.
- A confirmation email will be sent upon submission.
- Proposals will be reviewed by the PGA Show Education Management Team and submitters will be notified by email of the Management Team's decisions
- All correspondence and notifications will be sent electronically to the email addresses listed on the submission form.
- Note: All proposal submissions MUST include a presentation outline, as requested in the proposal submission form.
- All of the speakers' individual travel and living expenses are at their own expense.
- Relevance and timeliness of topic
- Innovation and tactical focus
- Quality of proposal (alignment of session description, outline and learning objectives)
- Expertise of presenter(s)
- Commercial-free, vendor-neutral nature of session proposal
- Because conferees can earn PDR credits when attending the sessions, adherence to one of the 4 topics of the PGA Show Education is mandatory: Executive Management, Teaching & Coaching, Golf Operations and Retail Strategies.
