The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) is looking for 2022 programming content from experts like you. Below are the avenues to which you can submit your personal story, research, conference presentation, and other emergency nursing content. Members and non-members are encouraged to submit abstracts.

You may stop and start your submission at any time, save and return to it later, any time prior to the submission deadline. THE EXTENDED SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 2022!


The Emergency Nursing 2022 Annual Meeting, September 30 - October 3, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.

Please review the Statement of Understanding for conference education abstracts before starting a submission.

Submissions must select a primary target audience:
1. Advanced practice
2. Leadership and Management (supervisory and/ or administrative roles)
3. Clinical
4. Educator
5. Emerging Professional (less than 5 years' experience)
6. Air & Surface Transport Nurse
7. Back to Basics

Submissions must select a primary topic area (up to three):
(1) Behavioral Health; (2) Chronic Disease; (3) Clinical Knowledge
(4) Communications; (5) Disaster Preparedness; (6) Health Equity; (7) Forensics
(8) Geriatrics; (9) Global Perspectives; (10) Wellbeing
(11) Infectious Disease; (12) Innovation; (13) Leadership and Management
(14) Legal; (15) Pandemic Preparedness; (16) Pediatrics; (17) Pharmacology
(18) Quality and Safety; (19) Resuscitation
(20) Throughput; (21) Trauma
(22) Triage

Submissions must select a primary presentation format:
1. Fast Track (25 minutes)
2. Education Encounter (45 minutes)
3. Deep Dive (2.5 hours)
4. Pre-conference Workshop (3.5 hours)
5. Roundtable (60 minutes-Brief presentation/ facilitated discussion)
