Welcome to the Call for Presentations Submission Site
The Texas Apartment Association is a non-profit statewide trade association dedicated to unifying rental housing professionals through education, legislative advocacy and member services. TAA is the largest statewide apartment association in the United States with more than 11,000 members representing more than 2 million units. TAA is affiliated with the National Apartment Association and local associations in 24 Texas cities.
This Call for Presentations will be used to determine sessions offered at the 2022 TAA ONE 2022 Conference & Expo on April 27-29 in Houston.
We expect more than 4,000 industry leaders from around the state to attend the 2022 TAA ONE Conference & Expo, and approximately 70 percent of conference registrants are owners, management company or REIT executives or multi-property supervisors. You are submitting a proposal to present a concurrent break-out session.
Approximately 50 percent of the owner/management attendees will be onsite property managers, 20 percent multi-site regional managers, 22 percent corporate executives and 8 percent maintenance professionals.
Application Review Process
Owner/manager members of TAA's Education Committee and the Career Development Subcommittee of the TAA ONE Conference & Expo Committee will review and evaluate submissions using the following criteria:

Compensation
TAA may pay a reasonable speaking fee inclusive of travel expenses and provide complimentary event tickets for the day you speak and will work directly with speakers on those details. TAA will attempt to negotiate any speaking fees, and we request that you quote a competitive fee as part of your proposal.
Supplier partners who submit a proposal must be working for a company who is exhibiting in the TAA ONE Expo. If your session is chosen, the booth must be secured before we confirm and promote the session.

- The proposal must be relevant and significant to the rental housing industry in Texas.
- Submission materials must be clearly articulated and contain achievable learning objectives.
- The presenter must be qualified to speak on the proposed subject matter.
- The session must not promote any specific company or products.
- The session engages the audience and provides useful information that attendees can apply to daily work life.
- The title must reflect the content of the proposed session.
