Dear Colleague,

The National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS, founded in 1988, is an annual event that draws more than 600 HIV/AIDS-care social workers and service providers from across the country and nations abroad. The field of HIV/AIDS has dramatically changed from 1988 when HIV/AIDS was a death sentence to 2020 when individuals can live and thrive with HIV. The theme for the 2020 National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS (NCSWH), "Social Work Solutions to End the Epidemic", invites social workers and allied professionals to share their expertise and ideas in social work’s role in ending the HIV epidemic. Our Annual Conference offers social workers, allied professionals, and people with lived experience, the connections, tools, learning opportunities, and strategies they need to understand and implement effective practices in their agencies and communities. It is my honor to invite you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2020 Annual National Conference on Social Work and HIV/AIDS, which will be held in New Orleans, LA May 20-23, 2020! We expect nearly 100 presentations to be delivered that will focus on this year’s theme.

Submit your proposal to present a conference session and join your colleagues in exploring best practices, emerging topics, etc.. The proposal deadline is November 14, 2019 We need YOU, the best of the best, to share your research, best practices, and new interventions with others working in the HIV/AIDS field. First-time applicants are also encouraged to apply.

If you have questions, please contact us at Elizabeth@collaborative-Solutions.net. Thank you in advance for your time, and we look forward to receiving strong proposals from each of you. See you in NOLA!
