We invite you to submit your session ideas for consideration for North America’s premier tile and stone industry conference. Each year, Coverings delivers the most innovative, cutting-edge education to industry professionals across the continent.
Coverings conference sessions are learning experiences first and foremost. To preserve educational integrity, all presentations must be strictly educational, non-commercial, and non-proprietary in both content and delivery.

The conference audience represents a diverse cross-section of the tile and stone community, including: Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, Remodelers, Installers, Contractors, Fabricators, Distributors, and Retailers.
Our attendees seek highly interactive experiences, professional demonstrations, and peer-to-peer collaboration. We explicitly require all submitters to build planned audience-engagement strategies directly into their session description and learning objectives.

- Materials & Trends: Focused on architectural design inspirations, raw materials, innovations, and tile and stone trends from around the globe.
How Your Proposal Will Be Evaluated
Our review committee evaluates all submissions via a standardized rubric. Ensure your proposal strongly reflects the following criteria:
- Quality & Relevance: Features clear learning objectives, an accurate, compelling title, and immediate, real-world application to the tile and stone industry.
- Audience Engagement: Contains explicit plans for interactivity, field demonstrations, or collaborative formats rather than standard lecture-only structures.
- Uniqueness & Diversity: Introduces fresh perspectives, original research, or unique angles that enhance the program's overall variety.
- Speaker Authority: Showcases verified professional backgrounds, industry certifications, and a demonstrated capacity for effective public instruction.
- Non-Commercial Compliance: Full, unambiguous adherence to our strictly educational, product-neutral mandate.

- Session Length: 1 Hour (60 minutes)
- Compensation: This is a voluntary, unpaid opportunity. Selected speakers receive a full complimentary registration to Coverings 2027.
