Submit Your Game-Changing Idea by July 22

Are you tracking the impact of your work? Submit a Game Changer presentation for the ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture!

We're seeking ideas focused on performance metrics that support the goals of the ASLA Climate Action Plan. Whether you're measuring carbon, equity, biodiversity, or another metric, tell us: What data are you using in your practice or office to drive climate-positive outcomes?

Share your innovative tools, frameworks, or lessons learned that help move landscape architecture toward a more resilient, just, and climate-smart future.

The top submissions will be invited to present their game-changing idea at the ASLA 2025 Conference on Landscape Architecture. Presenters will have just ten minutes to share their idea in New Orleans. The winning Game Changer, selected by a jury, will receive $500 toward professional development opportunities.

Here's How to Enter

• Your Information: Tell us about yourself. Please include all social media handles so we can tag you!
• Game Changer Written Description: Pitch this talk to attendees in two sentences. How will your idea change the field?
• Video: Submit a video under two minutes (cell phone quality is fine, 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, MP4 format). No fancy production required—just have fun! We recommend keeping it under one minute for better engagement.

Eligibility & Registration

• Landscape architecture professionals (graduates of a program recognized by ASLA) and students wishing to present must be active ASLA members.
• Game Changer presenters selected will receive 30% off full registration for the ASLA Conference.
• Allied professionals are welcome to submit and present; ASLA membership is not required.

Submission Review & Selection

The top submissions will be selected to present at the conference in New Orleans, in part through a popular vote.

• The submission process is managed through the Abstract ScoreCard online system. All 2025 submitters must create a new account.
• If you submitted to the January call for presentations, your account info remains the same.
• Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email.
