Welcome to the 2024 State of the Science in Hospice and Palliative Care Submission Site
You are invited to submit an abstract for the State of the Science in Hospice and Palliative Care, March 23-24, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona held at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix Hotel.
The 2024 State of the Science will be presented in-person following the 2024 Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care’s 2024 annual conference in Phoenix.
Authors with multiple abstracts are encouraged to thoughtfully submit their TWO best abstracts for review consideration.
Abstracts that have been submitted or presented at other meetings are welcome (previously published abstracts will not be re-published).
Research presented at the 2024 State of the Science will be directed towards an investigator audience and will include studies that span T0 (basic biomedical research) to T4 (translational research focused on outcomes and effectiveness in populations) research categories.
Authors are asked to consider the impact of their research with diverse and underserved populations, its relevance to the diverse groups of attendees, and to address and describe issues of diversity and inclusion.
Planning Committee October Call abstract submission notifications will be communicated to authors in December.
Submitted abstracts for this call will be open for submission through the abstract submission portal between October 2 - 23, 2023. Deadline for submission is October 23, 2023, at 11:59 PM PST. Your submission will be uploaded to the portal for committee review after you have completed the documentation and clicked “save” and "submit" in the abstract collection portal . Hard copy proposals will not be considered.
Accepted abstracts are planned to be presented in person in Phoenix in physical format. As a condition of acceptance at least one author per submitted abstract is required to participate in-person and be registered to attend the 2024 State of the Science in Hospice and Palliative care.
