CALL FOR ABSTRACTS ONLINE FORM

Welcome to the Call for Abstracts Online Form! The deadline to submit all abstracts including individual speakers within a symposium, general oral, and posters is: Friday, July 23 2021 at 5:00 PM (EDT).

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION PROCESS:

• Anyone interested in submitting an abstract should complete this form by the deadline. Note: this is a task-based submission process, and the system will guide you through the required elements in order to complete your submission. Please read all instructions carefully.
• Oral presentation authors have the option of indicating interest in an Organized Symposium, either as an invited speaker, or if you'd like your talk to be considered for inclusion in a particular symposium. Please refer to the conference website for overviews of the symposia: http://www.seafwa.org/conference/program/special_symposia/
• We are planning for an in-person event and also want to be prepared to offer online content for a virtual audience to expand our reach. You will be asked to select an in-person/onsite or virtual option for your presentation. PLEASE NOTE: all presenters whether virtual or in-person/onsite will be asked to submit a pre-recorded version of their talk. More detailed instructions on format and deadline for the recordings will be provided at a later date.

• Peer-Reviewed Manuscripts: Authors submitting a peer-reviewed manuscript for consideration by the SEAFWA Journal will need to upload the document in this online form. Notifications of acceptance for publication in the SEAFWA journal will be sent by the journal editors by late Summer. For all other authors, if you are not submitting a manuscript, you will need to “opt out” of the manuscript upload task in order to complete the abstract submission.

• Please submit an abstract only if you plan to attend the meeting. All presenters, whether presenting in a symposium, oral, or poster session, are required to register and pay the applicable fees.
