Welcome to the CMP Conclave 2019 Proposal Submission Site

Thank you for visiting the CMP Conclave 2019 proposal submission site! Submitters will be notified of the status of their submission by the end of May.

The CMP certification was created to enhance the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals. Today, the CMP credential is recognised globally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition, and event industry with over 10,000 CMPs globally.

The CMP Conclave is the only conference developed by and exclusively for CMPs! All education must align with one of the nine domains found in the CMP International Standards.

Presentations will be peer-reviewed. The review process consists of evaluating presentations based on content, session design and creativity, relevance of topic to the industry, presenter expertise, and clarity of description.

The CMP Conclave adheres to the APEX Green Standards and strives to be a paperless meeting. Handouts are encouraged and will be distributed electronically to registered attendees. By submitting a presentation, you grant Events Industry Council the right to record your session and provide and release associated presentation and handout files in electronic format (PDFs) through the conference mobile app and website.

Ready to submit? Here's what you need to know!
We're looking for innovative content presented during 60-minute breakout sessions, that challenges CMPs to think differently. Your proposal must align with one of the nine domains found in the CMP International Standards, and if you’re looking for some inspiration, consider using one of the following topics as a jumping off point:
  • Professional development - mentoring, empowerment of meeting planners, using your CMP, leadership
  • Future trends - sustainability, inclusion and diversity, healthcare, food and beverage trends, technology
  • Logistics - learning styles/environmental design, ADA compliance, wireless internet monopoly, emergency/disaster preparedness, production (i.e. trusses, overhead lighting, LED walls, etc.), safety and security
Note: Events Industry Council does not provide monetary compensation to our speakers. In extremely limited circumstances we may be able to supplement travel expenses. Join over 400 CMP professionals at the only exclusive meeting of CMPs in the industry. These events professionals plan innumerable conferences a year, globally.
