NOW OPEN - 2021 C3 Global Summit Call for Challenging Cases

The 2021 C3 Virtual Conference Experience continues.
Please use the guidelines below in submitting an abstract and/or challenging case for oral presentation at live, at VIRTUAL 2021C3 Global Summit. If you have any questions, please contact mia@interventionalacademy.com.

C3 Submission Guidelines

Overview

  • There is no fee to submit an abstract and challenging case. 
  • There is no limit to the number of abstract and/or challenging case submissions.
  • All submissions must be submitted under the presenter name only.
    1. Case presenters will be notified of submission acceptance. Name changes are not allowed.
    2. Non-presenting authors do not receive promotional coverage or discount registration status to the face-to-face C3. 
  • Accepted abstracts and challenging cases will be published in Heart Interventional after June 30, 2021. 
  • All submissions must be uploaded to the C3 conference portal for reviewer scoring.
  • If you would like to submit a video with your abstract or challenging case, please explain in your submission what the video(s) will cover.

 

Submission Guidelines

ePosters: Abstracts

  • Abstract Presenters are assigned in 1-hour sessions and are required to attend their full 1-hour session. 
  • Abstract Presenters will present for 3-5 minutes and should be prepared for faculty questions. 
  • ePosters presentations will be held in the Exhibit Hall.
  • Our new poster space applies to the face-to-face, C3 Global Summit and will showcase 6 concurrent posters on digital monitors, which will rotate to accommodate 10- 12 presenters in a 1-hour session. 
  • Assigned Moderators will visit one monitor at a time to listen to each associate faculty presentation.
  • Format of the submission – PDF

Oral Presentations: Challenging Cases 

  • Oral Presentations will be 10 minutes in length inclusive of discussion and panel questions. 
  • Oral Presentation will be staged using the C3 Virtual Conference Platform and / or C3 conference meeting room.
  • The meeting room will be equipped with a laptop, screen, and podium. 

 

Accepted Abstracts and Challenging Cases

Early Submitters 

  • To be considered an early submitter, your abstract(s) or challenging case(s) must be received by February 28, 2021.
  • Early submitters will be notified, via email, by March 31, 2021th, regarding the status of their abstract(s) or challenging case(s)
  • Accepted Early Submitters will receive:
    1. 50% off C3 2021 Conference Registration Fee.
    2. Name will be listed in event promotion and onsite conference materials.
  • Airfare, ground transportation, and food are not covered or reimbursed.
  • Accepted Early Submitters are required to attend C3 for a minimum of 2 nights.

Accepted Submissions

  • Accepted submissions received after April 30th which are accepted by the Scientific Advisory Board after April 30 will receive:  
    1. 25% off C3 Global Summit registration
    2. Name will be listed in promotional and onsite conference materials
  • Airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and food are not covered or reimbursed.
  • Submissions for Imaging and Physiological cases cannot be accepted after February 28, 2021.th


Fellows and Young Practitioners

  • Fellows, Fellows-In-Training and Young Practitioners specializing in cardiovascular disease are eligible to submit an abstract or challenging case.
  • Accepted case authors presenting at the 2020 C3 Virtual Fellows and Young Practitioners Forum will be recognized at the 2021 C3 Global Summit and accepted cases will be published in Heart International Journal. 
  • Accepted Case Presenters of the Forum will receive:
    1. Waived Summit registration.
    2. Name will be listed in promotional and onsite conference materials.
  • Airfare, ground transportation, and food are not covered or reimbursed.
  • Accepted Case Presenters are required to attend C3 for a minimum of 2 nights.


Women in Cardiovascular Disease

  • Female physicians specializing in cardiovascular disease are eligible to submit an abstract or challenging case.
  • Top Three Selected will be Featured in Women Interventional Summit. 
  • Accepted Women in Cardiology Submitters will receive:
    1. Waived registration.
    2. Name will be listed in promotional and onsite conference materials.
  • Airfare, ground transportation, and food are not covered or reimbursed.
  • Accepted Women in Cardiology Submitters are required to attend C3 for a minimum of 2 nights.

    Submission Portal/Login

    You must notify mia@interventionalacademy.com by June 1st, if you choose to withdraw your submission.
