The Integrated Foodborne Outbreak Response and Management (InFORM) conference will be held at the Westin Atlanta Peachtree Plaza Hotel March 9–12, 2020. Held every two years, InFORM brings together the network of public health officials involved with foodborne and enteric disease outbreak response. This includes federal, state and local public health scientists, epidemiologists, laboratorians, environmental health specialists, and health communicators. The conference will consist of a keynote speaker, plenary and discipline-specific sessions, and posters.

Abstract Submissions

To submit a proposal, please log into the Abstract Portal at the bottom of the page. Additional details will be available in the submission portal, but below is a brief outline of requirements and guidelines before you get started.

Presentation formats (additional details available in the submission portal):
  • Single talk
  • Poster
Proposal Form Instructions:
  • You will choose a discipline (Communication Science, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, or Laboratory) to inform which sub-committee will be reviewing your proposal.
  • 300 word maximum for "Session Description or Scientific Abstract"
    • If you are proposing a poster, please submit a scientific abstract. Additionally, if you are proposing a single talk, please provide a scientific description of the topic and/or if possible include an abstract. Abstracts should include a background, methods, results, and conclusions section.
    • 100 word maximum for “Why is this session or presentation relevant to our attendees?”
Proposal Requirements:
  • All submissions must include a title, author/presenter(s), and affiliation(s).
  • Proposals for single talks must include three learning objectives.
  • Submissions should not have been presented at a national conference in the United States within the past year.
  • Proposals that do not meet format requirements will not be considered for review.
