OMA Annual 2027 Call for Proposals

The Obesity Medicine Association is now accepting presentation proposals forOMA Annual 2027, to be held March 31 to April 4, 2027, in Orlando, Florida. Our primary target audience includes obesity medicine clinicians, whether they specialize exclusively in obesity medicine or integrate these treatments into their broader practice.

This conference aims to deepen attendee foundational knowledge, enhancing skills and understanding of obesity medicine. We invite submissions covering both adult and pediatric obesity topics and encourage submissions with practical applications. The OMA annual conference follows ACCME accreditation guidelines to offer high-quality, evidence-based, peer-reviewed education that is independent of commercial bias. OMA Annual 2027 is the premier stage to share your expertise and connect with over 1,500 obesity medicine clinicians. Submit your proposal today!

You may submit up to 4 proposals. The following will be required when submitting each proposal:

  • Presenter Information (credentials, bio, CV, speaking experience)
  • Title, topic area, session length
  • Session description and rationale
  • 3 learning objectives
  • Presentation outline
  • 3 literature references for your presentation

    Notification if Proposal is Selected (submission does not guarantee selection)

    October 2026
    If selected to present, a reasonable stipend for your travel expenses will be provided per OMA policy (i.e., flight, transfers, hotel night, meals, etc.) as well as a small honorarium for your talk.
