Submissions for Program, Section, and Member Symposia and Workshops are being accepted through March 1, 2026.
Rules and Regulations
- You do not have to be a member to submit a session proposal, however, at least one organizer on the proposal must be a current member of ESA.
- Individuals are limited to a maximum of 2 sessions on which they are listed as an Organizer. This includes Program, Section, and Member Symposia, Workshops, and Mini Workshops.
- As you contemplate your speaker line-up, keep in mind that presenters are limited to one oral presentation and one poster display presentation. This includes contributed, student, and invited presentations part of symposia; no exceptions.
- All organizers and invited speakers of accepted sessions will be required to register for the meeting. Waived registration may not be available.
Important Dates for Organizers
- March 1: Deadline for all symposia and Workshop submissions. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- April 15: Organizers will be notified via email of their submission status.
- April 15: Program Enhancement Fund (PEF) requests will open for applications. Instructions on the PEF request process will be provided to organizers at the time of acceptance. It is the responsibility of the organizer to communicate the PEF application process to their invited speakers.
- May 31: Deadline for organizers of accepted sessions to enter all presentation information on behalf of their speakers. Instructions will be provided at the time of acceptance.
- Mid-June through Mid-July: Session agendas (i.e., presenter order, presentation durations, breaks, etc.) will be solicited from organizers.
