Questions? Organizer: Dana Moberly -

We’re powering the IT world together by bringing thousands of IT pros and hundreds of tech vendors to the Austin Convention Center for 3 jam-packed days of tech and we want YOUR tech expertise.

If you're an IT pro or tech expert with a desire to share your knowledge of helpful solutions, cutting-edge technologies, or successful IT strategies, we'd love to have you submit to speak at SpiceWorld!

Important Dates
  • Call for Speakers Closes: Monday, March 11th (11:59pm CST)
  • Voting by the Spiceworks Community & Internal Review Period: March/April
  • Notifications to Selected Speakers Starts: Mid-April*
    *Subject to change
Session submissions will be accepted through Monday, March 11th. To apply, simply log in above as a “New User” to start the submission process.

Here's how it works: Once call for speakers has closed, the Spiceworks Community will vote on the sessions to tell us which ones they'd like to see at SpiceWorld. Finalists will then be reviewed by a team of Spiceworks staffers who will consider previous session ratings, current trending topics, and feedback from our own technical and IT staff. The selected sessions will be announced in April*. *Subject to change

Who Should Submit?
  • IT pros with speaking experience and a thirst to share their lessons learned and best practices.
  • Tech experts who love to share their insights to ultimately help an IT pro do their job.
Session Categories/Topics
To help attendees navigate all the great content at SpiceWorld, submitted sessions should fall into one of the categories below:
  1. PowerShell and Automation
  2. Client and Endpoint Management
  3. Infrastructure
  4. Soft Skills and Best Practices
  5. Security and Penetration Testing
  6. Cloud
  7. Emerging Tech – what’s next on the horizon
Session Formats
Sessions are an hour long: 45 minutes of presentation, 10 minutes of Q&A, and 5 minutes of “squish” room. Eighty percent of sessions will have 1 or 2 speakers presenting.

Tips for Success
  • Make sure your presentation adds value. Include the key learnings attendees will take away from your session.
  • Keep it vendor neutral. It’s fine to talk about specific products, but Spiceworks will disqualify any product or vendor pitch.
  • Get specific. Clearly define the concepts and ideas in your submission, explain the problem and the solution(s) you’re offering, as well as any important details.
If Your Session Is Selected You’ll Get:
  • FREE full conference registration pass to SpiceWorld (pre-event workshops that require pre-registration are not included)
  • Your photo & bio on the SpiceWorld website and mobile app
  • Special Spiceworks speaker gift
  • And last but not least...bragging rights!
