Welcome to the 2023 SACME Meeting Abstract Submission Site

The SACME Scholarship and Program Committees invite you to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentations at the 2023 Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education Multi-Channel Annual Meeting. The meeting will feature in-person and virtual participation. Our planning committees are working to create an interactive, stimulating event that will provide opportunities for development, networking, and scholarly interactions.

While additional topic areas will also be considered, the following topics will be of particular interest for the 2023 Program:

  • Innovative Strategies to Promote Well-being in Work Environments and Personal Lives
  • Social Justice (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility)
  • Evolving CPD Teaching and Learning Environments
  • Innovations in Interprofessional and Team-based Education
  • Intersections of Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and CPD
  • Data-Driven CPD
  • Technology-enhanced CPD
  • Inspiring the CPD Imagination
The abstract selection committee is accepting submissions in the field of CME/CPD in the areas below:
  1. Original Research in Medical Education
  2. Best Practices and Innovations
  3. Program Evaluations
  4. Evidence Informed Perspectives/Forum
  5. Hands-on Workshop

Notification: Abstract notifications will be sent to corresponding authors prior to December 1, 2022. All presenters must register for the SACME Virtual Meeting and will be expected to follow the guidelines for virtual presentations (where applicable).
