2024 Operations, Maintenance & Safety Conference
The Call for Speakers for the 2024 Operations, Maintenance & Safety Conference (OMS) is NOW OPEN. Applicants will be notified via email whether they were selected as a speaker by mid-December 2023.
Please note that applicants will be considered for various speaking roles including panelists, moderator and/or individual speaking roles.
Please note that selected speakers will be required to register for the conference at a significantly discounted rate. ACP is a non-profit and this helps the organization cover some basic conference costs. Revenue from ACP events goes back to the industry through ACP’s efforts to grow the U.S. clean power industry and support clean energy professionals.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS IN FULL BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION TO SPEAK.
ACP’s Call for Speakers Policy:
- All speaking applications must be submitted electronically through ACP’s submission website. No submissions will be accepted via email or other means.
- Only a complete submission is eligible for review.
- Speakers that make commercial sales pitches will be banned from future ACP speaking engagements.
- Speakers should be prepared to introduce new perspectives or data and not have been presented previously.
- More than one application per company may be submitted.
- Speaking opportunities are limited and will be awarded only to applicants who thoroughly demonstrate expertise and extensive experience in health & safety, operations & maintenance, training & development, and quality assurance. The program planning committee will take a variety of factors into consideration when selecting speakers including: ACP membership; length of time in the industry; involvement with ACP; prior ACP speaking experience; and diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.
- No late submissions will be accepted.

ACP will be accepting applications from speakers that are well-versed and demonstrate subject matter expertise across the following focus areas:
- Automated Performance Monitoring/Operational Efficiency
- BOP Underground Cable Faults
- Energy Storage
- Extreme Weather
- Fires (battery, wind, and/or solar projects)
- Hydrogen
- Maintenance Best Practices
- Recruitment, Retention, and DEIJ
- Safety and Arc Flash
- Solar-Specific Operations and Maintenance Issues
- Training Standards (Published Wind Minimum Standard and Guidelines, Solar and Energy Storage Guidelines)
- Vegetation Management
- Work Management and Quality Assurance
