Obesity Medicine 2026 Call for Abstracts
The Obesity Medicine Association is now accepting abstract proposals forObesity Medicine 2026, the OMA annual conference, to be held April 10-12, 2026, in San Diego. Our primary target audience includes obesity medicine clinicians, whether they specialize exclusively in obesity medicine or integrate these treatments into their broader practice. The goal is to disseminate the latest research and studies in obesity medicine and foster collaboration and networking among obesity medicine professionals.
We invite submissions covering both adult and pediatric obesity topics and encourage submissions with practical applications. Original research, post ad hoc study analysis, quality improvement projects, and case studies will be considered. Abstracts recently presented at other scientific meetings (i.e., “encore” posters) are welcome. Our in-person Innovation Hall offers you the opportunity to showcase your research in poster format and interact with 1,500+ industry leaders and colleagues. Submit your abstract today!
You may submit up to 3 abstracts. The following will be required when submitting each abstract:>
- Author and co-author information (For abstracts with more than 10 authors, a complete list - name, credentials, organization, bio - may be uploaded. Clinicians in training are welcome to submit provided their research is paired with a practicing obesity medicine clinician.)
- The OMA treatment pillar under which your abstract fits (Nutrition Therapy, Medical Interventions, Behavioral Modification, Physical Activity, Other) Common topics that might fit under "Other" include epidemiology, social determinants of health, pathophysiology, obesity-related diseases, and practice management.
