CLEANPOWER 2027 Conference & Exhibition Call for Proposals
We are now accepting proposals for the following opportunities to speak at ACP's CLEANPOWER 2027 Conference & Exhibition:
1.) Clean Power Insights Presentations- Selected proposals will be organized into focused 60-minute sessions around key industry topics (e.g., energy storage, electricity markets, workforce, safety, and more). Typically five to six Clean Power Insights proposals are grouped into each session to cover a given session theme.
- Each Clean Power Insights Presentation is a fast, TED-style talk - a concise, high-impact presentation delivered in 10 minutes or less- designed to spotlight actionable insights, lessons learned, and innovative approaches. No sales pitches allowed.
- Poster presenters will be assigned a 15-minute time slot during the conference to present their technical poster.
- A Poster Reception will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2027, where attendees can visit the Poster Gallery, meet authors, and learn more about their work.
- This year posters will be printed at no cost to presenters and delivered to the conference for you.
**NOTE: ACP is not taking proposals for full panels, as these sessions will be curated by ACP subject matter experts.**

ACP's Proposal Submission Policy:
1. All proposals must be submitted electronically through ACP’s submission website. No submissions will be accepted via email or other means.
2. All obvious commercial sales pitches will not be accepted for a presentation. Speakers who are accepted and make commercial sales pitches will be banned from future ACP engagements.
3. Proposals must be well-organized and clearly describe their relevance to the industry and how the information presented could be applied or used in practice. Applicants are encouraged to use case studies, offer solutions, and include specifics.
4. Proposals should contain new perspectives or data and not have been presented previously.
5. More than one proposal may be submitted by an author and/or company.
6. Incomplete submissions are not eligible for review. Please move all the way through the entire submission process, complete all tasks, and click "Submit" at the end, ensuring you receive a submission confirmation email.
7. If selected, you will receive a formal speaker invitation. Invited speakers will have 7 days to accept their speaking slot before it is forfeited. Because speaking opportunities are limited, some proposals may instead be offered a poster presentation. Note: Not all proposals will be accepted.
8. Deadlines are firm; late submissions will not be accepted.
9. Proposal submitters will be notified by email of their proposal status no later than November 30, 2026. If we receive an unusually high volume of submissions and require additional time for review, we will communicate updates to all submitters throughout the process..
10. Speaker Selection Criteria: The program committee will consider several factors when selecting speakers, including:
- Diversity of industry experience and perspectives
- Company and sector representation
- ACP membership status (ACP members will be given preference over non-members)
Additional Information:
- For membership inquiries, contact ACP’s Membership Team at membership@cleanpower.org
- For sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, contact Partnerships@cleanpower.org
- Registration Requirement: All selected speakers and poster presenters must register for the conference at a significantly discounted speaker rate.
