Who is eligible to participate?
- The competition is open to dealers employed at land-based or online legal and regulated casino operators in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Contestants must be nominated for the contest through their employer – the employer must submit the nomination.
- Dealers that are not currently employed as dealers at a legal and regulated casino entity or without the support of their employer are not eligible.
- Dealers employed on a part-time, on-call or dual-rate employee are eligible for the event.
- Every nomination must also include a judge from the same property to accompany the dealer.
- Both the competitor and judge must be available to participate in all of the competition days.
- One dealer nomination per individual casino property is allowed.
- For industry employers with multiple casino properties, the number of competitors that may participate per casino operator is subject to the following limits:
- For Industry Employers with one (1) casino property, one (1) Competitor may participate in the Competition.
- For Industry Employers with two (2) to seven (7) individual casino properties, a maximum of two (2) Competitors may participate in the Competition.
- For Industry Employers with eight (8) to nineteen (19) individual casino properties, a maximum of four (4) Competitors may participate in the Competition.
- For Industry Employers with twenty (20) or more individual casino properties, a maximum of seven (7) Competitors may participate in the Competition.
- No Industry Employer is guaranteed any specific number of Competitors who may participate in the Competition, final selection is at the discretion of G2E.
How do nominations work?
- Competitors must be nominated by their employer on the “Competitor Nomination” form on the G2E website.
- The nominator must be in a table games role at the casino operator and hold the title of director level or above.
- Information on the judge from the same property must accompany the competitor’s information in the application.
- In summer 2026, the G2E Dealer Championship Advisory Board will review applications and inform nominators and competitors of acceptance or rejection.
- The nomination process will remain open until July 17, 2026 or until the number of competitors reaches capacity.
- Nominees will be notified of acceptance or rejection into the 2026 G2E Dealer Championship no later than August 10, 2026.
- Nomination does not guarantee participation in the competition.
- Additional judges may be nominated to participate, without an accompanying competitor.
- If nominee will be determined by an internal contest within the casino operation, information on that process, including dates, must be included on the nomination.

- There is no fee to enter.
- Competitors and judges are responsible for own travel costs.
- All participants will compete in both Blackjack and Roulette for the contest. This is a requirement.
- All competitors and judges must be available to participate in all three days of the event, September 29 – October 1, 2026.
- Participation is limited, first to apply will be first to be considered for participation.
