Welcome to the 2020 OR Business Management Conference
Call for Proposals

OR Manager is seeking proposals for the 2020 OR Business Management Conference being held January 27-30, 2020 at the Bonaventure Resort & Spa, Weston, Florida. This conference is designed to help OR executives, surgical services directors, and business managers develop the skills and tools they need to increase efficiencies, effectively manage teams and meet revenue goals, all while keeping the patient experience top of mind. We are accepting the following proposals for consideration:

• Breakout session: Each breakout session lasts 60 minutes, with 45 minutes of presentation time and 15 minutes for Q&A. Each session must include a take-home tool to be downloaded by attendees. Complimentary registration is offered for a maximum of two speakers. Additional speakers are eligible for a discounted registration rate. When submitting a proposal, you must select a topic area and track from the drop-down menu.
• Pre-conference workshop: Workshops are designed for 3-hour periods to include both a presentation and small-group problem-solving exercises or other activities that allow attendees to interact and share experience. Complimentary registration is offered for a maximum of four speakers. Additional speakers are eligible for a discounted registration rate.
• Keynote Address: Each keynote address is a 45-minute morning session on current industry-wide trends that have the greatest impact on OR business leaders. Keynote speakers also receive complimentary registration to attend the conference. Please remember that your presentation should not be a sales pitch for products or services. Audience feedback has been negative whenever sessions have emphasized a company’s capabilities rather actual results and actions attendees can use in their home setting.

In past years, we have received well over 150 submissions for only 35 session slots. Be concise, be creative and innovative and remember these presentations should be new perspectives for the industry, not retreads of concepts everyone already knows.
