About the Conference: The MGMA Leaders Conference is MGMA's flagship conference that brings together leaders in the medical practice industry. This national event provides leading education in all aspects that drive excellence in healthcare. When selecting the conference's education, the committee looks for solutions that drive rapid and significant improvement in medical practices. Leaders across the spectrum of care will be recognized for their success, share winning strategies, and learn from best practices in the business. Our attendees include a wide range of healthcare professionals, ranging from new managers to seasoned executives from leading healthcare organizations.
About the Audience: Conference attendees have a variety of job titles and are employed by practices and organizations representing an assortment of different ownership structures. Our attendees are CEOs of large hospital systems, practice managers of single-provider private practices, and every title in between. Our attendees, on average, have years of experience in the field and are looking for actionable content, innovative strategies, and approaches they can immediately apply to their jobs.
Presentation Topics: We welcome proposals on a wide range of topics that are meaningful to Healthcare Leaders. Please ensure that your proposal appeals to leaders who influence organizational or system-level changes. Consider highlighting innovative ideas, emerging trends, case studies, research findings, or tactical approaches that will provide valuable takeaways for our attendees. Presentation Format: Proposals selected from the Call will include interactive breakout sessions that are 60 minutes in length. Please indicate in your submission how you plan to engage the audience and deliver your content effectively. If you wish to include polling, please mention it in your proposal.
Proposal Summary: Provide a concise description and three learning objectives (150-200 words) of your proposed session. Clearly outline the key points, main takeaways, and the value your talk will bring to attendees. Make sure to emphasize the relevance, uniqueness, and timeliness of your topic. Additional instructions and guidelines are on the Cadmium submission site.
Submission Process: Please submit proposals through the Cadmium submission site to be considered. If you have an existing MGMA account, please note that your MGMA login credentials are not associated with this platform. You will need to create an account to begin a proposal. Multiple proposals from the same speaker/organization are welcome. The deadline for submissions is February 29, 2024, and late submissions will not be considered. All proposal submitters will be notified of their status via email by late March 2024, and will receive further instructions regarding their participation if the proposal was selected.
Review and Selection: All proposals will be reviewed by our review committee. The submissions that include the following will be given the highest priority in the review process:
• Real-life scenarios that communicate the organization’s challenges and the demonstrated strategies used to resolve them.
• Metrics that quantify the improvements and how those results are attainable for others.
• Checklists, implementation guides, sample policies, action plans, or other tools that attendees can use to implement the knowledge gained in the session.
• Concepts new to the field of health care.
• Sessions that address the needs of specific specialties.
• Solutions that can be replicated by attendees in their practices.
• Avoid promoting products or services.
