Leadership Conference 2027 Submission Site
Join us at ENA Leadership Conference 2027. ENA Council and Chapter leaders, Emergency Nurse leaders, emerging and aspiring leaders, experienced ENA volunteers, and first-time attendees are invited to submit abstracts that address the leadership challenges and opportunities facing today's emergency nursing community.
We are seeking innovative, evidence-based presentations that provide practical strategies, foster active learning, and demonstrate measurable approaches to leadership excellence. Abstracts should feature forward-thinking ideas and best practices that support growth across key leadership domains, including People and Team Leadership, Professional Development, Membership and Engagement, Operations, and Leadership Challenges; whether within ENA State/Council leaders or broader Emergency Nursing leader settings. Selected sessions should inspire participants with actionable insights they can apply to strengthen their leadership skills, advance their organizations, and enhance the future of emergency nursing.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Log on to the ENA Cadmium (Scorecard) to begin the submission process and complete the required tasks (description, outline, statement of understanding, etc.)
• Select the target audience for your topic as ENA Council/Chapter Leader, Emergency Nurse Leader, or Both or if the topic is relevant to both.
• Presentations will be 45-minutes in length. ENA requires your presentation to include 20-minutes of content delivery and 25 minutes of active learning.
• Participants highly regard those educational sessions that provide practice and application to their roles and responsibilities immediately after the conference.
• Input a minimum of two (2) and maximum of three (3) speakers per presentation submission
• You can start your submission, save your progress, and return to it later
• Submission Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2026 (end of day)

PRESENTATION SELECTION
• Each submission will be blindly reviewed by the ENA volunteer review committee.
• Presentations offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, network and impact the quality of membership, education and advocacy for emergency nurses.
• Abstracts should reflect sound adult learning principles and best practices, informed by theory, research and practice.
Active Learning:
- We require your presentation to incorporate active learning that encourages leaders to immediately apply the knowledge gained to their professional practices.
- Evolving beyond engagement strategies, active learning strategies engage students in the learning process, encouraging them to participate actively in acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and practicing competencies.
- Stimulates and provokes discussion, audience engagement, and outcome-focused design.
- Facilitates knowledge transfer and development of new competencies.
