2026 Annual Congress - Call for Abstracts
Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for consideration to podium present at the 2026 Annual Congress August 21-25, 2026 at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.
Please review the Submission Guidelines and Abstract Grading Rubric before submitting your abstract(s). AANA will accept up to three (3) submissions per presenter with a maximum of two (2) presenters per abstract submitted.
Submission Deadline and NotificationSubmission Deadline: September 17, 2025 at 12:00 pm (NOON) CT. *No abstracts may be submitted or will be considered after the deadline.
Grading Deadline: October 22, 2025
Notification Deadline: Submitters will be notified of their status no later than January 15, 2026.
Annual Congress is designed to provide various educational topics that will develop the maximum effectiveness of CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists in their roles as healthcare providers in diverse settings across the nation. Annual Congress is an excellent opportunity to present your best practices and research to your peers and colleagues. In 2025, Annual Congress was attended by over 4,000 CRNAs/nurse anesthesiologists, nurse anesthesia residents, and RN-APRNs.

- Provide an organized learning experience that augments the knowledge and skills of the CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist in various settings.
- Serve as a forum where research pertinent to the specialty of nurse anesthesia can be presented.
- Familiarize CRNA/nurse anesthesiologists with the latest medical equipment, technology, and pharmacological products.
- Provide AANA members with an opportunity to participate in the business of the AANA.
- Facilitate interaction and networking between participants on a professional and social level.
