Call for Submissions for Functional Fabric Fall
November 11-13, 2025
Oregon Convention Center, Portland, OR
We invite industry leaders, innovators, and experts to submit proposals for the Functional Fabric Fair Day 0 as well as Expert Talks Programs. The Day 0 program will center on the theme of Sustainability and the Expert Talks program will center on the theme Textile-to-Textile: The Role of Recyclers. If you have expertise, case studies, or solutions to share on these vital topics, we encourage you to submit your proposal.
Conference Audience:
The Functional Fabric Fair conference programs (Day 0 and Expert Talks) are designed for verified designers, product developers, sourcing and purchasing managers, material research and innovation teams, and sustainability professionals seeking innovative fabrics and accessories for outdoor, performance, and lifestyle apparel. It also welcomes exhibitors and manufacturers eager to learn about best practices and sustainability strategies. Created by the industry, for the industry, the program provides actionable insights tailored to the needs of today’s apparel professionals.
Deadline for Submission: August 24, 2025.
Notification of acceptance will be as submissions are received with a final date of Friday September 26, 2025
Proposals must be submitted using the online form found below no later than August 24, 2025.
A maximum of three proposals are permitted from any one company or individual.
Submission Process:Complete and submit all required items in the session proposal form.
A confirmation email will be sent upon submission.
Proposals will be reviewed by the Functional Fabric Fair Education Management Team and submitters will be notified by email of the Management Team's decisions.
All correspondence and notifications will be sent electronically to the email addresses listed on the submission form.
All of the speakers' individual travel and living expenses are at their own expense, unless pre-approved with show management.
Speaker fees, if applicable, must be indicated.
Selection Criteria:Relevance and timeliness of topic
Innovation and tactical focus
Quality of proposal (alignment of session description and learning objectives)
Expertise of presenter(s)
Commercial-free, vendor-neutral nature of session proposal
