The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) and the Academic Pediatric Association (APA) encourage the sharing of scientific research as part of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine 2026 (PHM 2026) conference. Whether you have submitted in the past, or have never submitted, we encourage you to submit your work to PHM 2026.

We are pleased to announce the Call for Research Abstracts and Clinical Conundrums for presentation at the 2026 conference. PHM 2026 will be held August 6 – 9, 2026 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown in Kansas City, MO.

A standardized, blinded review process for the selection of Research Abstracts and Clinical Conundrums will be used for 2026. High-scoring submissions may be eligible for oral/platform presentation or e-poster presentations.

Please view the PHM 2026 Submission Guidelines for additional information. The Submission Guidelines assist authors in determining the appropriate category for their submission as well as provide required submission information and word/character limitations.
