2024 NEGEA Annual Conference Call for Proposals and Abstracts


Cultivating Creativity and Collaboration: Unleashing Innovation in Medical Education

A collaboration between NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine


The NEGEA invites submission of proposals for interactive workshops and abstracts for oral and poster presentations for the 2024 annual conference.

Abstracts may represent original research or innovations in medical education and may focus on medical or health professions education, including interprofessional education. NEGEA welcomes content along the continuum of medical education: UME, GME, CPD/faculty development, or spanning multiple levels of learners. Submissions related to our conference theme of, Cultivating Creativity and Collaboration: Unleashing Innovation in Medical Education, are particularly welcome.

Proposals and abstracts must be submitted here no later than 11:59pm (EST) on November 15, 2023.

We recommend that submissions be prepared in a word processing application and then copied and pasted into the corresponding sections in the online submission site.

Any submission is considered a commitment to attend the meeting and present the work, if accepted. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process and decisions will be sent to the first author by the end of February, 2024. Students, residents, fellows, and new scholars are strongly encouraged to submit their work. Authors may not be added after submission. All accepted submissions will be published in the online compendium.
